Is Bin Laden Rooting for McCain?

In 2004, Osama Bin Laden issued a statement with his primary method for attacking America.

"We are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy. Allah willing, and nothing is too great for Allah," bin Laden said in the transcript.
Unfortunately, George Bush has done everything he can to help make that wish a reality. I don't for one minute think Bush means to bankrupt our nation or support Al Qaeda. I just think he is blinded by idealism and self-destructive pride that ignores common sense (much like the Russians in Afghanistan). It appears John McCain is ready to continue down the same path of endless war and massive debt simply for the sake of pride. The more we spend the more tax cuts he wants to offer to the wealthiest tax payers. That means more debt. American fed Bin Laden during the Afghanistan war with Russia so he knows exactly how to bankrupt a super power. It is hard to fathom how we could misinterpret the history involved here. The path seems clear.

Heh, I agree with the point, although I could never bring it up here in Texas!

Perhaps Bin Laden has a preference. Or perhaps Osama thinks a little reverse psychology just might work on stupid Americans. I don't think we have a clue as to his mindset.I know he is aware of the great reuse America has pulled on his Gihadis mercenaries. It is all becoming clear to him in the last 3 or 4 months. You see Afghanistan is no place to fight a war and neither is Pakistan. The great American General staff versed Bush and our Congress with hese facts almost 5 years ago. We moved the fight against terrorism to Iraq because the enemy can be defeated there. The terrain is ideal for the kind of war our military can win. That's why once we had enough troops to effectively do the job we started winning. Not only that, but we pulled some 20,000 insugents(ie. al Qaeda, fundamental Islamists, and other individual mercenaries that flooded to Iraq to those killing fields of Gihad.) Mark my word afghanistan/Pakistan will be many times more casualties than Iraq, but now at least their are not as many of them as there were. Praise God! Cause when Obama gets elected we will see what real war deaths and casualties looks like in the new war on Osama.

Anonymous,

I agree that any more wars would be horrible. The one we have now is bad enough. All violent wars should stop. Let's stop! The only war we should be fighting is a media war of accurate unbiased information to uneducated people in areas with radical fundamentalist religions (including the American bible-belt). We need diplomacy not war. That's one of the many reasons why I support Obama. If you find a candidate that is talking about starting a war in Pakistan, then please let me know. I'll vote for someone else.
